What about people wanting to get ON the train? How many of them would have been on the Manhattan-bound platform?Unfortunate for them, but like I said, not a safety issue. How about the elderly or handicapped who would have had extreme difficulty crossing under so they could get a local? Unfortuante, but again, how many can it possibly be? Most of those people on that train have to be able to traverse stairs anyway, as every single station on the 7 need people able to use stairs to use the line. |
