Conductors are not that dumb on the MTA. I've never encountered anything of the sort while on the subway.Sorry but I did - I almost fell into Coney Island creek thanks to a conductor who opened the doors too soon. IIRC it was either on a D-Type or BMT Standard in regular service - long time ago so the conductor in question has long since retired or passed on... Cured me of the game I used to play which was to see if I could run out of the car before the door fully opened... |
