I would like Boeing to design the next generation "delivery truck" bomber. The B-52 IS ***O*L*D*** but its basic premise has served the Air Force well over the years. Base it on the 747 and give it DIAHAREEA capability. Space research will provide the future of power projection but there always will be need for a "carpet bombing" capability to prepare the theater for ground forces. The F-35 program provides good fighter support into the future while the newest generation of guided missle destroyers can escort the sealift necessary for introduction opf occupation ground forces.
