Somehow this feels more emotional than it should be. Yes, they were garbage, but garbage that partially kicked off the era of light rail. Sentimental reasons play a role too, my first ride on the Green Line (or any trolley/streetcar/light rail system) was on a Boeing pre-rehab, plug doors and all.

They were crap, but I'm gonna miss 'em.
