He says many good things about Moses especially in his early years. He even states somewhere that on the whole, he feels we are better off today because of Moses' efforts. I think he was very fair and does a good job backing up his assertions. I even read the 25 page rebuttal by Moses which is available on the internet. (I don't have the link handy, but you could probably Google it without too much trouble.) He comes across just like the arrogant bastard Caro claims he was. He accuses Caro of making things up without any back-up, but in his rebuttal, Moses can only back up one claim against Caro where I think Moses is correct. That's pretty good in my opinion, one mistake in 1400 pages of text. |
