A large portion of the line, especially between Bet Shemesh and Jerusalem is limited to either 50 KPH or 60 KPH (31 and 37 MPH respectively). The Tel Aviv-Nahariya line is much faster. It only takes about 20 minutes to get from Tel Aviv to Ben Gurion Airport, and an hour from Tel Aviv to Haifa.
