Unlike in the States, security people in Israel are focused on your behavior, not whether you have metal objects or a pocket knife with you. It is believed that a terrorist would not be able to honestly and calmly answer those questions under pressure during a brief interrogation. It matters less as to what answer you give. Rather, the focus of the agent or guard is on how you behave during the questioning. |
