There is a general ineptness around inner South London which is really nasty, e.g. Brockley to Norwood Junction, almost as bad as the RATP diagrammatic metro map. I take a very ruthless attitude to this now, apart from junctions, every bend in a map should be treated as a potential error. The designer should investigate whether it is possible to get rid of them. Its how I got to this:
