I noticed that about 1/4 of the time was spent waiting on platforms. What would happen if a trip was planned on a special day when rush hour was continued all day (prio to a holiday, or someother rare occassion). What was prevented you from cell-phoning friends to hold the doors at some transfer points if you were arriving a few seconds late (cross platform or short ramps (6th Av- L to F, Jay, A to F, etc. |
