Posted by Rail Blue on Sun Dec 31 21:25:16 2006, in response to PHOTOS -- London - Sunday - Part II - railfans' delight (Was: Cockfosters), posted by Terrapin Station on Sun Dec 31 20:38:11 2006. You like those abandoned platforms, don't you! Have you figured out the original layout of Gloucester Road station yet?I still feel there's clearly something wrong about an arrival on platform 1 at Paddington. The place in some ways is even more blatant than Euston in having separate arrivals and departures sides. Pity the 168 you snapped was the version with the boring front end. 168/0s are much better IMO. Bond Street - eugh, isn't it grotesque!? That Picc above ground poster is great! I must see if the museum shop has one some time... |
