Posted by Rail Blue on Sun Dec 31 09:05:05 2006, in response to Re: Cockfosters, posted by (SIR) North Shore Line on Sat Dec 30 23:17:48 2006. :-) And if they're on the Central Section, those are:4 - Victoria - Brighton Fast via Quarry (should be a CIG+BIG+CIG, but never mind!) 14 - Victoria - Brighton Semi-Fast (originally via Redhill, later via Quarry - for some reason via Redhill became 34) Alternatively, they could be: WESTERN SECTION 4 - Waterloo - Portsmouth Harbour via Bookham (was this *EVER* used?!?) 14 - Waterloo - Waterloo via Richmond and Chertsey, or Waterloo - Woking via Richmond and Chertsey, or Southampton Terminus - Andover Junction via Eastleigh EASTERN SECTION (ex-SER LINES) 4 - Charing X - Folkestone Central / Margate via Orpington 14 - Charing X - Orpington via Lewisham EASTERN SECTION (ex-LCDR LINES) 4 - Victoria (Eastern) - Kent House 14 - Victoria (Eastern) - Folkestone Harbour / Dover Western Docks via Herne Hill and Bat & Ball Actually, that looks quite a lot like the Brighton Line - I could bet on the first shot being somewhere in the Coulsdon area, and the second one near Earlswood. |
