But is there a specific reason to wear hearing protection on the (2) ans (5) lines?OSHA declared the sound levels at "points" on the (2) and (5) lines to exceed their definition of what they consider to be too loud in the work place. In response, RTO declared it mandatory that all conductors and train operators on the (2) and (5) lines wear hearing protection while on the train. |
