Posted by Rail Blue on Sat Dec 30 21:24:03 2006, in response to Re: Cockfosters, posted by Wado MP73 on Sat Dec 30 20:10:00 2006. Why? "All trains go to Charing Cross, Waterloo, and Kennington" already suggests that "only some continue to Morden" while letting you know that all trains go to popular destinations like Charing X and Waterloo. The useful additional information would be: "for Oval and all stations to Morden, change at Kennington as required" (i.e. it's no use getting off before then!). IINM, there is a sign somewhere saying something like that (or failing that a variable message that's more use than the standard nonsense), but I don't tend to pay much attention at Euston because I tend to use it a lot. |
