Similarly, LU has some terminal platforms at Moorgate subsurface station which it doesn't use much except in emergencies; it could take over the Thameslink terminal platforms too, but it doesn't need them. All of this would need money for track rearrangements, and why spend it on facilities that you barely need?Sounds like a wonderful way of creating a museum... |
