Like that back in my day usually as well ... particularly the PM half of the tour ... now kick back and think about what the splits were like. You climbed up at oh dark hundred, did your round trip from Stillwell to the Bronx and back, then had six hours to shuffle around Coney with nothing to do. Most of the guys hit the gin mill and didn't shape up for the PM tour. Heh.Even if you made it back on time, it was you to go because the interval before yours was ABD'd because the crew for that run was flat on its face in the TMO's toilet. :) Wonder why the splits went away? TWU didn't get tough, they got tired of ABD's. Heh. |
