IIRC, when the RER in Paris was constructed, some of the 600VDC third rail lines were converted to 25kV @ 60hz.All of the 750VDC third rail lines were converted to overhead, earlier conversion was to 1.5kV DC, later ones to 25kV@50Hz except parts of RER C where Z5300 stock were still the mainstay. The last third rail line was converted to RATP T2 line with 750VDC overhead(LRT). |
