Having the N bypass 49 would unnecessarily overload the W.Moving the merge point would simply move the delays. Instead of northbound passengers into Times Square being delayed, southbound passengers into Times Square will be delayed. If you don't want to be delayed, read the holding lights and transfer as appropriate. (That's easier to do at 34 than at 57, since Q trains leave from both platforms.) |
