Only southbound can a train on the express switch to to local north of KH. Northbound from the local to the express would require a reverse move. The nearest location for such a switch is just north of Ave. X, which would a) cause the train to skip Ave. U, and b) foul up the scheduling for any train terminating on KH center track.subfan |
