LION has been to CHI on AMTK, that means Onion Station. It is a nice big station, busy, maybe, but nowhere near as busy as NYP.Even assuming that more people arrived on a given train, it has much more time to remain at the platform before it has to make way for the next. LIRR can get more people off faster with more stuff more easily. LION FAILS to understand how anyone cannot be ecstatic over high level platforms. LION has been to CHI Onion, and found it lacking, that a major station should have such a bad and awkward platform system. The LION was NOT impressed. ROAR |
