High level platforms are here to stay Oh, I never denied that. they are faster and more efficient, and much safer too Tell that to the woman who fell through the gap. if you are unaware of it, the are injuries on low level platforms and stairs too Ain't as many as with these LIRR gapsI daresay you can count 'em on your hand over the past few decades for all US passenger rail. And there are handles to hold onto when going up and down them stepsno handles to help you jump over them gaps. |
