Exactly my point. This isn't something that happens every day. Suddenly, in the past week or two, a bunch of cars have moved around, and there have been posts about them.If the 4 often borrowed cars from the 1, then we'd often see VC-based R-62A's on the 4, and it wouldn't be a big deal this time. But, except for some weekend GO's a few years ago that cut the 3 back to Manhattan and extended the 4 to New Lots, I've never seen R-62A's on the 4, and even then I don't think they were VC-based. I'll say it again. It's about as likely for the 4 to borrow cars from the 1 to make service as it is for the M to borrow cars from the C to make service. |
