I feel that the current stainless steel look on the trains is the best for the times. The White and Aqua signified the 1964 World's Fair...why would we bring that back except on heritage/museum cars? Silver and Blue was nothing more than a makeshift paint scheme of the times as was the other schemes, there's nothing really special about it, it kind of reminds me of the bland paint scheme on the buses. And besides....no paint scheme at all is probably the cheapest in the MTA's eyes. If they did instate a paint scheme, I would prefer something new that reflects the system as it stands today. |
