I pushed for improvements to my home station[water leaks...the sewer smell..emergencey gates ..better lighting..24 hour METROCARD entrance and a police officer plainclothing/uniform..]and got it.One problem that still needs to be addressed is the terminal at Smith 9th st.. Doesn't make sense if the train turns around at 4th avenue WEEKDAYS...and weekends, reverses at Church avenue...without picking up riders. RUN the train to Church Avenue at all times so it can serve Park Slope...and the 4th Avenue subway. |
