The 28 and 31s used to cover the route to Chelsea, but were well-known to be plagued by unreliability. When they were either converted to low-floor single deckers, or when later upgraded to low-floor double-deckers from the previous smaller vehicles (I don't remember which), they were cut back and the 328 route introduced. |
