Start flaming me now because I would like to see the line become light rail so Staten Islanders can start paying for their rides to and from intermediate points. Last time I rode there, lots of people got a free ride. Passengers at intermediate stations can enter thru the front door by the operator and deposit fare or swipe MetroCard in the farebox. Outbound you pay as you enter and inbound you pay when you leave, just like some Philadelphia area lines. Passengers to/from St. George continue to pay there.
