I don't think it's the worst thing in the world. If I had know farther in advance that I'd be in Boston this coming weekend, I would've gone through the MBTA Photo ID program, just in case -- if stopped, cops know that you've already consented to a security check, and passed. However, the difference there, of course, is that the MBTA has a rule in place preventing photography (while NYCT does not) without the pass. Then again, I'm not sure what happens on here when one of us fails to pass the security check for whatever the reason. |
