But the officer DEMANDED that Jarid provide ID and a whole lot more info. He tricked Jarid into thinking that handing over the ID and providing the info not voluntary. That is not proper. The proper way would be to ask "Can I see some ID?" and when Jarid said he was uncomfortable providing it, the officer should not have DEMANDED it. |
