Yeahbut, cops don't just either arrest you or let you go. There's the 3rd option, that middle ground of being detained on the spot and having to endure more BS. Anyway, as far as producing the ID goes, to me it's minor and not a battle I pick to fight. As I said in another post, I've been arrested before and showing ID is a walk in the park by comparison. I prefer to draw the line in the sand where I feel it's more important, like over handing him my camera or deleting photos.your pal, Fred |
