I have noticed that Eastern European systems suffer from grafitti to a greater degree, particularly on the trains themselves. I assume that this is a result of lacking money to remove it as soon as it's applied, which is the norm in the UK at least.![]() PKP-Polish Railways suburban EMU at Katowice. I saw several this badly tagged when I was there. ![]() MAV-Hungarian Railways car at Budapest Keleti. Neither systems are anywhere near as bad as the photos of the 1980s depict New York to be, however. Tagged cars/units are unusual but not overly so. |
