The "good old days" to me were the late 50's and early 60's, when Lo-V's, AB/D types, and R1/9's ran. Remember my first trip on an R-17 on the #6 in 6/56, when the family took a trip to Pelham Bay Park. This route still had some Hi-V's running, as we saw one at Parkchester. |
