Yup, these cars did infest the orange D in 1986/7, just as the yellow D was receiving the first R68's. If you were a Bronx D rider, you couldn't help but feel shafted. At least they cleaned them up in late 1987 and they began phasing them out in 1988 as the R68A's began arriving. |
