It isn't crush loaded like the 6, but most (if not all) of its seats are usually filled. The R isn't reliable enough to handle the Broadway local by itself. The W also relieves the N (which receives an influx of 7 riders at Queensboro Plaza). Just because a line is a local doesn't mean its useless. |
