And they *would* benefit from an LRV or even and HRV, since development would surely follow. And with development, usually comes improvement.Again, I was never arguing against transit altogether, just in favor of light rail on short headways over heavy rail on long headways. I'd love to see heavy rail return to the North Shore branch, but it doesn't seem practical, as the longer headways would discourage ridership. As I pointed out, there are rezoning areas all along the North Shore that indicate development density will not likely increase. |
