The three track terminal that you mentioned, do you happen to know if trains reversed in all three platforms (as at many termini on London Underground), or did some trains reverse in the centre track, whilst others detrained on the outside track, reversed in a turnback track, and re-entered service on the other outside track (as at many termini in Paris, Mexico City, and Corinthians Itaquera in Sao Paulo)?No idea, although the way the line was extended does make it look suspiciously like the latter. |
