Even if you know there's another train right behind the crowded one in the station, wouldn't you still try to cram on? Its follower, while possibly emptier, will be moving just as slowly, stuck between stations for each of its leader's long dwells.Well, in the case of a long gap on the Lex Express, the first train should perhaps be sent non-stop from 59th to Brooklyn Bridge, saving the extra hit of the dwell times at GCT and Union Sq. |
