Been 35 years now for me since last I climbed ... wow. Heh. Back then though, I was amused at how many different couplers I spotted at Coney on those LoV's in the back with "WM" on them. Then it was explained to me why that was. And yeah, still have my "magic fork" from the old days of cuts and adds at 168th when the AA ran. Lucky enough to pick up some of that duty in the AM's when the B's needed to be turned into something else there. :)Still, the cobbage you guys have nowadays beats all hell out of dragging along an extra car or two just to make up a work train. |
