I personally *KNOW* some of the people who handled that. TRUST me for what little "Unca Selkoik" is worth in cash ... the PEOPLE who did all that are VERY honest ... too MUCH so for their own good. :(PROBLEM was actually that they DID turn the money over to MOD. PATURKEY and MTA wanted some of it and THUS the "conflicts." :( But the PEOPLE behind it were as honest as the day is long. Alas, we gots REPUBLICANS and Enron, Worldcom, GE and Halliburton didn't get THEIR "piece of the action" according to GOP/D'Amato rules of divvying. :( |
