My mother or father (depending on whose turn it is to drive me) take me to school at approximately 8:05 AM each weekday. Traffic is always flawless, unless an accident has occurred, in which case, ~5 minutes are added to my commute.I almost always use the subway to commute home, except for the lucky times when my mom is willing to pick me up. This commute occurs around 3-4PM. Traffic is never heavy. The subway never comes close. If my parents aren't willing to drive me in the morning (thankfully, this happens infrequently), I have to leave the house by 7:15 to arrive on time (Broadway IRT from 181st street to 242nd terminal.) |
