My new TTTP is the old JFK Expresss and AirTrain merged. It's a train that actually takes you to the plane not just to the nearest subway station. It's not philosophically different than what Pataki wants to do. Only he would use LIRR type equipment on the AirTrain ROW and run it over the Atlantic branch into a new tunnel to Lower Manhattan and dead-ending near the PATH station. My plan would use IND standards, is cheaper by using te existing lines and would serve almost every important point in Manhattan from Fulton St to Inwood. The only infrustructure to build would be the link from AirTrain HB station to the IND express tracks.
