Of course it was discussed on the demolition of PD Tower, and the new signalling system between Patchogue and Speonk. They don't have any more new service planned of the Montauk Branch though at this time, other than the potential autumn addition of a third dual mode out of Speonk. It's either going there or Oyster Bay, they haven't decided yet. Eventually, they they will look at developing service between Speonk and Patchogue a bit, but not yet.No further electrification of the Montauk branch is being planned or being looked at at this time. |
