Its a stainless steel body and frame, one thing upset the entire scenario is upgrades required to make car comply with todays FRA requirements.Correct, and they would have been REQUIRED to make the changes if they were majorly overhauled. This would have taken a lot of money, and they still would have been stuck with 40 year old cars in the twilight of their usefulness anyway. |
