Just as a general comment-- either or both levels could possibly be extended almost anywhere regardless of whether it was originally planned. The idea may have been to run along the LIRR ROW, but remember that the E extension itself began originally as a provision for a Van Wyck Blvd line, so anyone who is willing to grab the ball can run with it anywhere.Right now, I'd make a big loop between the E and F to increase turning capacity-- but also leave provision for other expansion. |
