(that must be added to mortgage payments).And as for rents, they are obviously cheaper per square foot on Long Island, but they are not "cheap" as if you rent a house for example, that would probably pay as much as you pay for a one bedroom in Manhattan. Of course this is not across the board, as on Long Island rents vary from area to area. Sometimes it'll be more than a Manhattan studio or one bedroom, sometimes less depending on where you are. |
