The only way to tell them apart from newer SD-100s now is the commemorative plaque mounted on the operator's cab bulkhead at each end of the car. Ridership exceeded expectations, so much so that six additional LRVs were quickly ordered. I actually missed the grand opening because I was out of town on a service trip, but rode for free two days later, on Sunday. |
