I believe he was. The late Joe Brennan catalogued all he had discovered. My description f 2nd Ave dates from 66-70 when that was my default station as ived on E7th facing tompkins Sq Pk.As a kid in Chicago, I was crious about the bellmouths (did not kniw the term then) immediately south of the Roosevelt Station under State Street. Today, those have been extended to feed "Red Line" trains out to the Dan Ryan median. |
