It’s not just the day-night cycle, it’s that solar panels don’t work as well when it’s overcast. You can have days or weeks of shitty weather, so batteries that can work overnight aren’t enough. Even in places like the southwest where it’s almost always sunny, there’s still winter when the days are shorter.Solar+batteries are something, they’re not everything. |
