This female train operator was lamenting having to go to the tracks to clear snow from a stop arm to get a signal to clear. Snow? In August? But I digress. After complaining about going to the ground in the snow, they change scenes. She's back in the cab and whining about having to operate all the way back to the bronx. Not to minimize the dangers inherent in the job, but that's what the training is all about. That's what the safety gear provided is all about. And to make matters more idiotic, She's flanked by (presumably) some unidentified union flunky who's cheering her on. What a responsible union official should have done is tell her that this is part of the job and the working conditions we contractually agreed to. Shut the fuck up and go back to work! |
