And once you've done any of that you've created another bottleneck. If the N goes to the bridge track at Dekalb you now have 3 lines on one track.Deinterlining Dekalb won't work because whichever routes are on 4th Ave won't stop at Dekalb, leaving Brighton riders with no access. Atlantic Ave transfer is not an alternative as that will add 10 minutes to the ride even if you can walk fast. As it is today I never make that transfer on weekends and basically treat as if it doesn't exist. I'd rather just walk outside at my destination since Broadway and 6th Ave aren't that far apart. |
