Why did’t they keep the WF cars on the Bronx 3rd Ave el, after 1969? There simply were not enough WF cars to protect the service. The few remaining standard Steinways were almost gone. The museum Lo-V's were placed in service in 1968. This was a stop gap measure. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
