1972 – from The Book of Wrecks

An “F” train of R-38’s hit one of the bumping block east of 179th Street Station.
The consist was (n) 3991-90, 4041-40, 3983-82, 4069-68 and 4129-28. Cars 3990 and 3991 were heavily damaged.
